I am an RRCA certified running coach, with a personal trainer certification (in process). I have over 26 years of running experience. I completed 37 marathons, including Pike's Peak Marathon and the Boston Marathon, with the goal of running a marathon in all 50 states. I compete in countless road and trail races at all distances (Ultra-marathon, marathon, half-marathon, 10K, 5K, etc.) every year! I ran my first 50-Mile Ultra Marathon at Michigan North Country 2012 and placed third in my division! I ATTEMPTED THE LEADVILLE 100 MILE RUN TWICE.  I love anything that involves nature, fun, friends, and exercise!

I have trained many successful runners at all distances, from 2K to full marathon! Most of my runners go on to run farther, longer, stronger. If you have never tried running, or have tried and it didn't work out for you, don't give up! Our program is designed for success. Many people who have tried running on their own, do too much, too fast. They run until something hurts, they're miserable, and are turned off of running from that point on.

Our Recliner to Runner program starts off very slowly and builds up slowly. Once the fitness base is laid, we will begin to ramp up. Each week during our LIVE WEBCASTS, we'll discuss running gear, stretching, nutrition, personal safety, proper form, injury prevention, and many other topics! I listen to my runners and provide the tools for success. Expect to be my best friend over the 10 weeks of training! I will check in on you frequently and we'll meet and train together often (depending on geography)! Some of my best friends are people that I met and coached through this Program! Once you graduate from the program, join our weekly training runs to help stay motivated and connected.
