What is Students on the Run!?

Students on the Run! is a program designed to train high school students to run the GO! St. Louis Half Marathon on Sunday, March 29th.  Several area high schools participate in the program and over 15,000 people participate in the race.

What is the time commitment?

Training begins second semester. During the month of December we practice Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:00-4:30 (depending on how long it takes you to complete the mileage).  All of these runs are done in the neighborhoods surrounding your school.

Starting in January, we will run Tuesdays and Thursdays during the week and Saturdays in Edwardsville on the bike trails with Runwell. the Saturday runs will offer a water station and post run pancakes at runwell!

This is like any other sport where attendance is mandatory! All absences need to be approved beforehand. After 3 unexcused absences, you will be dismissed from the team and your registration fee will not be refunded.

Return registration waivers and proof of physical(Due to Coach Jen by Dec. 7)
Register for the race and pay $50 online (Link and discount code will be provided).  

COST:  $50 FOR THE DISCOUNTED RACE ENTRY FEE.  The rest of the program is free!
